Citizen Hospital and Research Center (CHRC) is a 30-bed private, multidisciplinary healthcare facility dedicated to delivering high-quality, affordable medical care while fostering clinical research and innovation in healthcare delivery. Established in 1996, CHRC is situated in a serene neighborhood of GRA Lowcost, Suleja, Niger State, Nigeria. It serves as a vital access point for comprehensive healthcare services in the town.
CHRC offers evidence-based clinical care supported by robust diagnostic, preventive, and research programs. The hospital has recently expanded its services to include a patient-oriented research initiative, aimed at improving healthcare outcomes through evidence-based medical practice. These research activities, facilitated by the Department of Public Healthcare, have led to publications in reputable international journals, reinforcing our commitment to the advancement of medical science.
For over 15 years, CHRC has been actively involved in training students through Industrial Training (IT) and Clinical Postings. We partner with universities, polytechnics, colleges of health, and schools of technology to prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals through hands-on experience and mentorship.
CHRC is accredited by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), serving over 4,000 enrollees, in addition to a large number of out-of-pocket patients (OOP). Strategically positioned for growth, our facility is equipped with additional beds and medical infrastructure to support future expansion and meet rising healthcare demands.
